Man United star ‘not giving up’ on Reds career just yet, player open to ‘starting again’ at Old Trafford: report

Jadon Sancho is refusing to give up on his Man United career, due to Erik ten Hag’s uncertain future.

Manchester United Football Club have several big decisions to make this coming summer in regard to letting players leave. Erik ten Hag tried to move on from the likes of Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho, though there was no sufficient interest in regard to a permanent transfer.

Sancho, in particular, is an interesting case. Everyone knows about his very public fallout with the United manager. Eventually, he’d depart on loan in the January transfer window. By all accounts, he’s doing alright at Borussia Dortmund.

I just naturally assumed we’d never see Sancho in United colours again. However, the Englishman seemingly has other ideas.

It’s the I newspaper with the claim. They state that the United star is ‘not giving up’ on his Reds career just yet, with the player open to ‘starting again’ at Old Trafford.

Apparently, Ten Hag’s increasingly uncertain future gives Sancho a possible way back into that Red Devils dressing room. The player feels that way at least…

As it stands, United are still planning for Ten Hag to remain as manager, though that can all change very quickly before now and the end of the season.

Sancho and Ten Hag’s relationship has been deemed ‘irreparable’, which does make sense given the public spat they had before the turn of the year.

It is believed that United’s current preferred option is to sell Sancho, which does make sense given the nature of the situation. I find it super difficult to envisage a scenario in which the winger comes back to the club and returns to that dressing room as if nothing had happened…

Do you think there’s any way back for Jadon Sancho? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
