Man United winger, Jadon Sancho, does not want to return to the club next season, even if Ten Hag loses his job.

Manchester United are an absolute mess right now – both on and off the field.

Pressure is building on Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman has coached the Red Devils to some truly dreadful results over the last few weeks. I genuinely struggle to see the club winning another game this season (there are four left, including the FA Cup final).

Behind the scenes, no doubt planning for next season is already underway. Whether Ten Hag will be in charge is a major question mark.

Well, one man who wants to stay away from Old Trafford next term is Jadon Sancho. That’s according to talkSPORT, who claim that the United star ‘does not want’ to play for the Reds next season – even if Ten Hag is sacked this summer.

Apparently, ‘provisional talks’ have been held with senior members of the United hierarchy about a possible return, after being banished by Ten Hag. However, Sancho does not want to make a comeback.

By all accounts, Sancho is doing pretty good over in Germany with Borussia Dortmund – the club where he initially made a name for himself before moving to Manchester. Fair play to him for that. However, the feeling is mutual and I do not want to see him back at Old Trafford.

There’s just way too much water under the bridge. Sancho has made way too many enemies already among the fans – and possibly within the dressing room, too. Couple that with the fact he actually played pretty poorly for United whenever given the opportunity.

It feels like the best option for all involved is to let Sancho leave. The player can start again at a better situation for him personally, while United will be rid of a headache, a dressing room problem and plenty of money freed up in terms of weekly wages. It just makes sense.

That’s not to say Sancho is a bad player. He’s only 24. He still has plenty of time to forge himself excellent career at the highest level. It’ll just be away from Old Trafford.

Do you think there’s any chance we see Jadon Sancho pull on a Man United jersey again? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
