Man United have named their price for Jadon Sancho, heading in a crucial summer transfer window for the Old Trafford side.

Manchester United still have themselves a Jadon Sancho problem to fix. The Englishman has struggled ever since arriving at Old Trafford, while a very public fallout with Erik ten Hag hasn’t helped matters.

The Red Devils sent Sancho on loan in January, with the winger heading to Borussia Dortmund – the club where he made a name for himself as a teenager.

Sancho has scored in his last couple of games for the German side, as he looks to rediscover his best form.

The general feeling has been that there is no way back for Sancho at Old Trafford, particularly if Ten Hag does remain in charge.

Now, Football Insider have shared their latest information on Sancho. They claim that United have now set a ‘bumper price tag’ on the 23-year-old star ahead of the summer window. That figure will stand at £40-50m, assuming he’s able to rediscover his best form.

The Reds will look to ‘offload’ the player during the summer window, which is no surprise given how poorly it panned out for him in Manchester.

United will have to sell players in order to fund new arrivals, while this would be a nice boost to the transfer kitty if the deal does happen. That said, it’d still be a major hit to take on a player who cost in excess of £70m just a few years ago.

Sancho just hasn’t worked out here. Whether it’s due to inconsistent playing time, being forced to start matches out of position or due to a poor stylistic fit, who knows? At the end of the day, he has to go. As soon as your attitude is questioned, there’s no coming back.

United should just take whatever they can get from this sale and look move in a different direction as soon as possible.

Do you think there’s any way Man United receive this sort of fee for Sancho? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
