Manchester United have reportedly received an approach from Everton to sign Andreas Pereira on loan but there is also other interest in the playmaker. The Brazilian spent last season out in Italy on loan at Lazio, who are also open to the idea of bringing Pereira back to Rome.
The 25-year-old has featured in pre-season for United in the past few weeks and scored a stunning volley in the 2-2 draw with Brentford at Old Trafford.
Yet despite that, United are said to have placed him on their summer transfer list alongside Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now stacked with options in attack following the arrival of Jadon Sancho, meaning Pereira’s game time will be limited if he stays this season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Everton have now made a swoop to sign Pereira.

The Toffees would like to bring him in on loan though, whereas United prefer a permanent sale.
The club are keen to move him on now he has just two years remaining on his contract, knowing his value is decreasing with every month that goes by.
Everton have had a rather underwhelming summer in the transfer market having only signed Andros Towsend, Demarai Gray and Asmir Begovic.
Pereira would give them some extra quality going forward but it’s unclear at this stage whether Everton are likely to conclude a deal.

Flamengo have also reportedly made an offer for the United man, who is expected to depart before August 31.
United will be without Raphael Varane when they kickstart their new Premier League campaign tomorrow at home to Leeds.
The Frenchman has not completed his £34million move from Real Madrid in time to feature at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has conceded that the deal has been held up, with image rights believed to be the final obstacle in the way.

“He’s not trained with us, and all the dots on the is and crossed the ts [haven’t happened] yet,” Solskjaer said on the World Cup winner.
“Things happen and things take time and unfortunately with the isolation has delayed these things, it’s not 100 per cent done, I can say he probably won’t be [playing against Leeds] because he’s not trained with us.
“It always happens that there are little things, the big hold up was the isolation and quarantine, he’s been in Manchester now, hopefully, it’ll be done soon.”
