Man United have received a third bid from Fulham for Scott McTominay.

Manchester United are now in a situation where they have to sell before they can buy. Big money has bene spent on Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro. The Old Trafford side will now have to raise funds first before they further strengthen the playing squad.

One man whose future remains up in the air is Scott McTominay. The Scotland international is currently away with the Reds over in the United States, as he gears up for the new season.

However, he may not be playing his football at Old Trafford next term. According to the Manchester Evening News, United have received a third bid from Fulham for McTominay.

The 10-goal star is subject of big interest this summer, with Fulham offering £23m bid.

Galatasaray are also keen on McTominay, with United said to be ‘open’ to offers for the 27-year-old first-teamer, but only for the right price. The Reds want around £25m-30m for their academy graduate.

Interestingly, Erik ten Hag has ‘expressed his wish’ to keep McTominay at the club, though the fact he is out of contract next year means his hand may be forced.

McTominay’s situation is finely balanced. It could genuinely go either way. Honestly, I’d be happy enough with whatever decision is made by the Old Trafford club. Either the Reds will receive a decent fee for McTominay, or they’ll be keeping a player who is now a genuine source for goals.
