Man United could cash in on Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, with an offer made for his signature.

Manchester United will have to generate funds in the transfer market before they can splash the cash on bringing in new players. Money is tight for the Red Devils as things stand.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not have it easy due to the massive wages that some of these guys are on. Selling them on will not be easy, meaning the Old Trafford side may have to accept some cut-price offers in order to trim down the weekly wage budget.

Over recent days, Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s name has popped up as a potential exit over the coming months. Turkish media outlet Fotomac, with the information being relayed by Sport Witness, have provided an update on the Englishman’s future.

The claim states that United have received a £8.5m offer for the 26-year-old defender, with Galatasaray in the hunt for a new right-sided defender. The Spider is said to be a top target for the Turkish club.

According to the article, that initial £8.5m offer was immediately turned down by United, though talks are ongoing and the door has been left open to get a deal done.

Wan-Bissaka, who made over 20 Premier League appearances last season, was played at both right-back and left-back over the course of the campaign, with the player having a contract until 2025.

Given the injury issues in that area of the field, United are going to play hard-ball with Wan-Bissaka. It’s going to take a higher transfer fee to part with a player who is consistently available for selection – while he has showcased the ability to regularly play at a high level, particularly defensively.

Diogo Dalot and Wan-Bissaka were the last full-backs standing fitness-wise last term. If you lose one of those guys, you simply have to replace him with genuine quality. This also comes after Alvaro Fernandez has been sold to Benfica. Can we really count on just Dalot to lock down that right-hand side? Probably not.
