Man United are reportedly one of the teams interested in a possible transfer deal for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix. The 22-year-old attacker has struggled in his time in La Liga, partly due to not looking a perfect fit for the tactics or style of play of the Argentine manager.
Portugal international could now be edging closer towards a potential move away from Atletico Madrid, and the Red Devils are being tipped as contenders for his signature. Felix was considered a real wonderkid during his time at Benfica, and it’s still possible he could revive his career if he joins the right team next.
Man United might end up being the best fit for Joao, especially due to the Cristiano Ronaldo connection. The Portuguese forward will know Cristiano Ronaldo well from their time together at the international level, and the veteran forward could be an ideal mentor for Joao at the club level as well.
The report also mentions the likes of Chelsea and Man City as being in for the Portuguese attacker, so this won’t be an easy deal to get done. Still, it looks Man United are not currently keen to gamble on Eden Hazard, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
