Man United may have been given hope of finally sealing the transfer of Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier. It looks very obvious from watching the Red Devils so far this campaign that they lack enough quality from wide areas, especially due to Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s limitations as an attacking outlet from the defender.
Kieran looks a perfect fit to provide Man United with better quality on the ball, and his superior crossing could be particularly useful to get the best out of Ronaldo, who is such a threat in the air. A recent report suggested that the Red Devils could be back in for Kieran in winter after first targeting him in the summer.
England international himself will now surely fuel those transfer rumours, as he’s admitted that he would love to return to the PL. The Red Devils would surely also love to have him, though one imagines he could have other suitors from the PL as well after his fine form in La Liga.
Before playing for Los Colchoneros with Liverpool, the Englishman said: “I would love to play in the Premier League again.” Man United playmaker Bruno Fernandes was reportedly set to push to quit the club over the involvement in the failed European Super League project.
