Man United in the hunt for 26-year-old Moroccan forward

Man United might disrupt Liverpool’s approach for Sofyan Amrabat as the Fiorentina star has caught the attention of the PL giants. Following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, several footballers have found themselves amid headlines. And many teams have been busy scouting footballers for their future endeavours. The Red Devils have also done their homework, and the recruitment team is now focused to provide the best possible footballers to Erik ten Hag. Despite bringing in Casemiro and Eriksen, the Dutch manager is not convinced by his midfield options and feels the need for further assessment. Given the exorbitant amount of pressure in place, Erik ten Hag needs time to churn out results consistently, and early signs have been pretty encouraging. The rebuilding has shaped quite nicely so far, but the Red Devils will need additional forces in the middle of the pitch. Man United recently have triggered the one-year extension clause in Fred’s deal. But the midfielder is merely a squad footballer nowadays and his efficiency has not been to the required level. Moreover, recent reports have suggested that Fred might depart from Man United soon. The best possible way would be to ease out all the fringe players to make the transition smooth. And Amrabat could be a shrewd move by Man United. Sofyan outclassed other midfielders at the 2022 World Cup. And perhaps this could be the right time for Man United to invest heavily in a player who could be included in their long-term planning.
