A £60-70m sum would be sufficient for Man United to lure Moises Caicedo from Brighton. The Red Devils are believed to be keeping a tab on Ecuador international and are willing to make a deal. Caicedo made his PL debut this year but has already been heralded to be the next top midfielder on English soil. The Seagulls beat off competition from several teams including Man United as they snapped him up from a relatively unknown Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle for an amount exceeding just more than £3m. The battle to land Moises is heating up with each day passing and Man United are leading the line. Erik ten Hag brought in both Casemiro and Eriksen in the summer but a combative midfielder like the Ecuadorian would definitely add a new dimension to his system. The Red Devils are designated to add at least one midfielder in the summer and Moises’ chances of donning that jersey are pretty high as things stand. The South American midfielder already illustrated his ability in the World Cup as Ecuador almost breached the round of 16 in the ongoing World Cup. Moises has been ever-present for Brighton as he has been pulling the strings in the midfield with relative ease. Caicedo has shown enormous maturity while rubbing off with his opponents and will only grow in stature further. Ten Hag is building a squad for the future and a footballer like Caicedo could definitely be the focal point of his team.
