Man United closely monitoring €75m-rated Serie A striker

Man United and Tottenham will maintain a strict watch on Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. Serie A giants want €100m in exchange for Argentina international. The Nerazzurri defeated Milan in the Italian Super Cup, with the 25-year-old centre-forward’s goal proving to be the winner. The Argentine centre-forward failed to make a mark at the 2022 FIFA World Cup for his country. But the Argentine is seemingly back to his old self, scoring goal after goal. The South American centre-forward has been involved in 13 goals in the Serie A so far. But according to the standards set by the former Racing striker, he will have a lot of room for improvement. Lautaro has stayed on the watchlist of several teams. And Inter Milan should be mindful of their doings in the near summer as they might lose another highly-rated footballer from their folds. The Red Devils have gone from strength to strength under the stewardship of the Dutch coach. But their rebuilding is still under process, and they will undergo another major overhaul in the summer transfer window. They have brought in Weghorst on a temporary contract. But Erik ten Hag is eyeing a frontline centre-forward to lead his line from the next campaign. He has inherited a fine crop of attackers, and the footballers benefit from the arrival of a massive presence in front of them. Inter’s current financial condition means they cannot really reject offers exceeding €100m.
