Man United are keen on bringing in Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer this summer, Sky Sports News have confirmed

Well, it has now been confirmed that Manchester United will be losing Raphael Varane this summer. The Frenchman will wave goodbye to the Old Trafford crowd tomorrow, during the game against Newcastle United.

There are also doubts about the future of Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans, while Lisandro Martinez has had injury struggles. With all that in mind, you’d assume that a new centre-half will be among the top priorities for the Red Devils this coming summer.

Like clockwork, those transfers are now flowing. It’s Sky Sports News who provide the latest update on that front, linking United with a move to sign Tosin Adarabioyo.

It’s not the first time the Reds have been rumoured to be interested in the Fulham man.

According to the latest information, United are ‘interested’ in signing the 26-year-old on a free transfer this summer, when his contract with Fulham expires.

Check out Sky Sports’ X post on the news here:

Manchester-born Adarabioyo has enjoyed himself with Fulham, showcasing his talents and developing nicely as a player. With money believed to be tight for United, this could be the ideal signing to kick off the Sir Jim Ratcliffe/INEOS era.

No doubt there will be several other interested parties, as Adarabioyo is an excellent player who’d improve most Premier League squads at this point in time. It may be hard to beat out competition from some clubs, particularly if they have Champions League football on offer.

What I will say is that Adarabioyo will likely command a larger weekly wage than you’d typically expect due to the fact he comes with no transfer fee.

Do you think Tosin Adarabioyo would be a good signing for Man United? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
