Ronaldo eyeing Juventus exit The 2021 summer transfer window could yet prove to be one of the biggest in history.

We have already seen the shocking move of Lionel Messi departing long-time club FC Barcelona and joining PSG on a free transfer.

Kylian Mbappe also look as though he could be heading to Real Madrid for a huge fee.

Elsewhere, in what would perhaps be the most interesting move of the window, Cristiano Ronaldo is being linked with Manchester City.

It was claimed last week that Ronaldo was looking for a transfer so he would not start Juventus’ game with Udinese:

Cristiano Ronaldo will be on the bench for Udinese-Juventus. Official. 🚨🇵🇹 #Ronaldo

He’s NOT starting – it was a precise request from Cristiano because he hopes to find a solution on the market in the next days.

But Juventus have received NO official bids yet for Cristiano. pic.twitter.com/sQ0z3rO1Bk

Man City bound? Manchester City’s reported interest in the Portuguese would then begin to ramp up late on Thursday:

Juventus are waiting for Manchester City official bid to arrive in the next hours to reach an agreement as soon as possible. Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave and he won’t be available for next match. 🚫🇵🇹 #Ronaldo

Mendes is now discussing Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester City.

The Athletic’s Sam Lee also stated that a deal is at an advanced stage:

I will literally never learn. Clearly this was a Grealish-based joke but also: it’s obviously advanced. City and Ronaldo wanna make it happen, now City and Juve are negotiating. That’s advanced. Come onnnnnnn

And now, a further update on the situation has been forthcoming, with it claimed that Ronaldo left Juventus’ training center after just 40 minutes. He was there to say goodbye to his teammates and wants to leave the club in the next hours:

Cristiano Ronaldo has left Juventus training center after 40 minutes to say goodbye to his teammates. He only wants to leave the club in the next hours. 🇵🇹🚫 #Ronaldo

NO training today. Ronaldo is waiting for Mendes to bring the official bid as it’s still verbal with Man City.
