Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.” Cruz’s main roles were being responsible for scouting for the first team in Spain and Portugal. He also collaborated with the first team’s analysts when United have faced Portuguese teams over the years. The scout joined in 2007, the year United brought Nani and Anderson from Sporting CP and FC Porto. He was also responsible for the area when United signed Bebe, Diogo Dalot and by far his biggest success, Bruno Fernandes.
