Liverpool target Karim Adeyemi impresses Another striker from the RB Salzburg production line, Karim Adeyemi is the latest player to impress in Austria.
Adeyemi is a talent. Didn’t think Liverpool would make a move for him this early given he’s only played ~1,600 mins for Red Bull Salzburg in the league, but they might see him as low risk, even at the rumoured €30m. pic.twitter.com/Ct2Ehpu4iZ

And, like those before him, the German has begun replicating these performances in the Champions League.
Salzburg made a trip to Spain to open their Champions League campaign with a tie against Sevilla. Bizarrely, a mammoth four penalties were awarded in the first half alone.
The German international, who opened his account for his country in the most recent international break, was responsible for winning all three of his side’s penalties. This in itself is a new Champions League record, with no player having won more than 2 penalties before in the same game, let alone half, of the competition.
Of course, Liverpool’s interest existed well before this, but his rapidly rising stock could force them into making a move in January.
Adeyemi discusses dream move However, the Reds may already be too late, with Bayern Munich also thought to be tracking the striker.
Speaking to Spanish publication Marca, the German forward revealed that Bayern would be his first choice destination, saying:
“If they made me an offer I think I would choose that path. I want to show them what I can do, who I am and that it was a mistake to leave me go. That motivates me. “
It remains to be seen if German manager Jurgen Klopp could have any influence on proceedings should Adeyemi become available in the coming months. With both Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah unavailable due to the African Cup of Nations in January, however, Liverpool could certainly use the reinforcements.
