Premier League giants Liverpool have this evening been left to sweat over the fitness of star wide-man Sadio Mane.
Reds’ woes Developments on the treatment table on the red half of Merseyside have of course proven a major talking point across the early months of the campaign.
This comes with Jurgen Klopp’s options having been absolutely decimated by a lengthy string of blows on the personnel front.
Owing to respective injury problems, the likes of Joel Matip, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Roberto Firmino have all been forced into spells on the sidelines.
Midfield sensation Harvey Elliott, meanwhile, will remain out of action for the foreseeable future, after suffering an ankle dislocation-fracture during a Premier League meeting with Leeds United back in September.

Mane blow As such, it is safe to say that the last thing which Klopp and co. would have wanted to hear of was yet another personnel concern on Thursday.
But, as outlined above, a short time ago, this is precisely what was forthcoming.
Sadio Mane turned his attentions towards matters on the international stage this evening, in a World Cup qualifying showdown between Senegal and Togo.
Unfortunately, however, the prolific winger failed to even make it to the half-hour mark, before being forced into a premature exit from proceedings owing to an apparent rib injury.

It now remains to be seen whether Mane faces any kind of significant spell on the sidelines, a development which would deal a hefty blow to Liverpool’s Premier League title hopes, with Roberto Firmino of course already out of action with a hamstring problem.
