La Liga giants plotting move for incredible United talent who scored six goals in a game this season – report

Manchester United’s highly-rated talent Victor Musa is on the radar of the Spanish FA and Athletic Club.

Under INEOS, United have intensified their attempts to sign the best up-and-coming talents to strengthen their options at Carrington.

The Red Devils have beaten PSG to the signing of Enzo Kana-Biyik and are in the race for River Plate prodigy Franco Mastantuono. However, they might face a battle to keep hold of one of their gems. Things might also get trickier for England.

Musa is considered one of the most exciting prospects at the club’s youth setup. The left-footed centre-forward is known for his dribbling ability, pace, and exceptional movement.

In April, Musa scored an impressive six goals in 45 minutes. In total, the 18-year-old has 14 goals and three assists to his name this season.

According to AS, Musa’s potential could lead to a fight for his international allegiance.

In Spain, he is viewed as “the Lamine Yamal of United” and the Royal Spanish Football Federation reportedly want to make a decisive move to ensure he represents Spain in the future.

Born in Tudela in the Autonomous Community of Navarre, Musa is eligible to represent both Spain and England.

The United starlet played for Spain U16s against the Czech Republic at the end of 2021, and a month later, he appeared for England at the same level.

Spain missed out on Madrid-born Alejandro Garnacho to Argentina, and it is suggested they don’t want a repeat of that with Musa. Further, there’s interest in him at the club level, too.

United’s Europa League opponents, Athletic are thought to be monitoring him. It is understood that the youngster would “fully adapt to their philosophy.” The Bilbao-based outfit have been following the player since 2023.

Having said that, Musa’s dream is to play for United and make his name at the Theatre of Dreams.
