Jurgen Klopp outlines what Liverpool must do to break down Wolves & drops team selection hint

Wolves vs Liverpool Liverpool return to action on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm UK time when they face off with Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp and co. head into the game fresh off the back of a 4-1 hammering of Everton on Wednesday evening.

Said result ensured that Liverpool kept pace with the remaining two Premier League title-chasing sides.

However, both Manchester City and Chelsea, who sit one and two points above Liverpool at present, remain in fine form and both have fairly windable games this weekend.

As a result, Liverpool cannot afford to drop any points against Wolves this weekend.

And, whilst Wolves do seem unlikely to be able to beat Liverpool – they have scored just 12 in 14 – Bruno Lage’s side do have a solid defensive record.

Wolves currently have the joint-third best defence in the division, along with Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp on how Reds can beat Wolves & Liverpool team selection Ahead of what is expected to be a closely contested affair, Jurgen Klopp would speak to the press on Friday afternoon.

When doing so, the German discussed a number of topics, including what Liverpool must do to break down the defensively-sound Wolves:

“They’re a really good team. They don’t concede shots on goal. We need to be creative.”

“They have a proper midfield, Jimenez up front and I am really happy he overcome the misery of the awful [skull fracture]. Hopefully he will score lots of goals, apart from Saturday. They’re a really good team. They don’t concede shots on goal. We need to bee creative.”

Klopp also gave something of a team selection hint, stating that we should not expect 7/8 changes, seemingly suggesting it will be a similar team to the one that beat Everton.
