According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal will set Villa back 30 million pounds, and will add another dimension to Villa’s attack with his pace and trickery.

Tuanzebe loan on the ropes? However, Villa have seemingly been dealt a blow in their chase for Axel Tuanzebe. The Manchester United defender is free to leave on loan, with Villa thought to be interested in bringing him back to Villa park, where he had an impressive spell between January 2018 and May 2019.

As per the Manchester evening news, however, Newcastle United have “leapfrogged” Villa in the chase for the English defender, with Steve Bruce seeing the centre-back as a potentially key part of his defence for the upcoming season.
