Manchester United are ramping up their search for the caretaker manager position following Ruben Amorim’s brutal sack. It was expected that both might be working in tandem like before, but that does not seem to be the plan anymore. INEOS have already spoken with the ex-England midfielder, and now, as per The Daily Mail, face-to-face talks with the Norwegian will be held on Saturday. “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hold face-to-face talks with Manchester United on Saturday as he bids to become interim head coach until the end of the season. “Solskjaer is battling with Michael Carrick for the role after United sacked Ruben Amorim this week, although caretaker boss Darren Fletcher cannot be ruled out.
