A former Manchester United winger has sent a clear-cut message to Pep Guardiola and Manchester City after the club’s fourth consecutive Premier League title win.

Arsenal fell short in their bid to dethrone defending champions Manchester City on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.

Despite the Gunners securing a 2-1 comeback win against Everton at the Emirates, Arsenal finished second in the league table and were two points behind City.

City, meanwhile, ensured their Premier League title triumph with a convincing 3-1 win over West Ham at the Etihad on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola’s men became the first English team in history to lift a fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Manchester United previously captured three Premier League trophies in a row under legendary former Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Gordon Hill sends message to Man City

Manchester City suffered only seven league defeats en route to the Premier League title, with Pep Guardiola’s side winning their last nine league matches.

Former Manchester United winger Gordon Hill, who played at Old Trafford during the 1970s, sent a classy message to City and Guardiola after their league title win.

Gordon Hill took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and congratulated City on lifting the Premier League trophy for the fourth time in a row.

I just want to say well done City on winning the Title, You deserved it after playing such great football. all the best.

The 70-year-old former United player said that Guardiola’s men “deserved” the league title and praised their style of play under the Spaniard.

“I just want to say well done [to] City on winning the title, you deserved it after playing such great football. All the best,” Hill wrote.

Hill on FA Cup final between Man City vs Man Utd

City’s season will culminate on 25th May with their FA Cup final showdown against United at Wembley.

The Premier League champions lifted the FA Cup trophy last season after City beat United 2-1 in the final in 2023.

Hill insisted that a positive about the FA Cup final is that the trophy will be coming to “Manchester one way or another.”

“Well, the season is over and the last game [is] the FA Cup, should be a good one, one good thing is the cup is going back to Manchester one way or another,” he tweeted.
