“Here we go!”: Man United and Villa strike full agreement over loan transfer of Jadon Sancho – Fabrizio Romano

Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho is set to join Aston Villa on loan, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed

Sancho set to seal late move to Aston Villa

Sancho has been available for transfer all summer but a move has waited until deadline day. AS Roma lodged an offer for the player, which United were prepared to accept, but Sancho turned them down.

Turkish giants Besiktas also explored a swoop for Sancho but he also knocked back their approaches, insisting he was not interested in a transfer to Turkey.

The England international demonstrated an unwillingness to compromise on his extremely high wage demands and this put off suitors.

On Sunday, a report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Sancho could seal a last-minute switch to Aston Villa. Unai Emery’s side are keen on the United outcast despite his struggles in the Premier League.

More recently, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Villa and United were in talks to try and strike a deal. Romano explained that Sancho faces a swift decision: either seal a move to Aston Villa and remain in Europe, or risk the window closing and end up joining a club outside the continent.

Now, Romano has confirmed that a deal has been struck and Sancho will be a Villa player.

Romano gave the transfer his ‘here we go’ catchphrase.
