“He said yes to United”: Red Devils stun PSG to sign sensational talent, transfer sealed before Athletic clash – report

Manchester United have completed the deal to sign Le Havre sensation Enzo Kana-Biyik, as per reports.

While the spotlight this week is on United’s trip to Bilbao for the first leg of the Europa League semi-finals clash against Athletic Club, the English outfit’s recruitment team have raised a few eyebrows with their decisive moves.

Last month, the Red Devils convinced Kana-Biyik to leave Le Havre and join their youth setup on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Known for his impressive movement and technical ability, the France U18 international has scored nine goals in 15 appearances at youth level this season.

His immense potential naturally led to interest from Europe’s biggest clubs. Further, Le Havre also showed great determination to renew the highly-rated striker’s contract.

However, United blew competition out of the water with their firm and swift approach and secured the green light from the 18-year-old.

Earlier this week, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming Kana-Biyik will travel to Manchester imminently to complete his proposed move to United.

Now, journalist Christopher Michel is reporting that the French starlet has signed a long-term contract at Old Trafford.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he has agreed a deal until the summer of 2030 with the option of a further year.

Michel adds that the Mancunians beat off competition from Chelsea, AS Monaco, and Paris Saint-Germain to land the exciting forward.

PSG, in particular, showed concrete interest as his two brothers are already on their academy books. Kana-Biyik, however, decided to pick a different route to continue his development.

Interestingly, United could hand PSG further transfer blows in the next few weeks. The Premier League giants have reportedly set their sights on PSG youngsters Axel Tape, Mahamadou Sangare, and Oumar Camara.
