Kane’s transfer U-turn Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane yesterday ended the biggest transfer saga of the summer by confirming that he would stay at Spurs.
It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽

The England captain had made his aim to leave north London clear this summer, with Manchester City the chief interested party. However, no suitable bid came in, with the Citizens’ best reaching 150m euros, well below Kane’s perceived valuation.
Harry Kane has decided to respect Tottenham decisions and to be available since 2 weeks – this is why he was regularly playing vs Wolves. He’s not gonna break his relationship with Spurs. 🚫⚪️ #THFC

As a result, the hitman will be staying at Spurs for the 2021-22 season.
Kane set to demand new contract Now, as per The Times, Harry Kane is set to demand a bumper new contract with Tottenham. The forward is thought to be asking for £400,000-per-week, which would represent a massive upgrade on his current £230,000-per-week deal.

Crucially, Kane is also keen to learn from his mistakes by inserting a release clause into his contract, though there is no indication of the kind of sum involved. For their part, Spurs are thought to be set to offer Kane a new deal, which would keep him at the club until 2027, when he is 34 years old.
Will Kane pen fresh terms, or will he leave for pastures new next summer?
