Back to Dortmund “Sources say that Borussia Dortmund are interested in Sancho if he becomes available on a free transfer, but will not pay a fee for him.” The Bundesliga giants had signed him from Manchester City when he was young, and after four years, they sold him to United for £73 million. Safe to say, the move was an unmitigated disaster, and the winger even re-joined Dortmund on loan back in 2024. Back in Germany, Jadon Sancho excelled again, but he has struggled with the pace and physicality in the English top flight. This report just shows how well Dortmund and Jadon Sancho have played the system. It was clear that they were both hoping for this move to materialise. United fans won’t care.
