Thursday 02 March 2023 10:00Manchester United Under-21s forward Omari Forson has been named on the Premier League 2’s Player of the Month shortlist for February. The nomination follows a superb month for Omari, in which he scored four goals in three games. The young Reds’ first February fixture came on the 11th of the month, when we hosted Everton’s Under-21s at Leigh Sports Village. Forson wasted no time at all picking up where he left off in our final match of January – when he scored in our 2-1 win over versus Blackburn Rovers – by grabbing an impressive hat-trick against the Toffees. The attacker’s three goals came after Joe Hugill opened the scoring for United, as the Reds ran out 4-1 victors. The second of these was even named on the 12-strike shortlist for United’s Goal of the Month competition for February too.U21s highlights: United v Everton VideoU21s highlights: United v EvertonWatch our round-up for highlights and reaction following United’s Premier League 2 game against Everton…The following week, the Reds managed to pick up a point away to Crystal Palace, but no goals were scored by either team in that match.
