Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has said that Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has held talks with Manchester United despite the Manchester City reports. And that is as a result of Man United owners, the Glazers.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Glazers are tempted to re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, with Juventus valuing the Portugal skipper at £25million.
The Glazer family believe a Ronaldo homecoming would get them back onside with Manchester United supporters and Ronaldo’s value is said to be appealing before the Glazers.
Fabrizio Romano, today reveals that Man United are now talking about the figures of a deal for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, as well as a potential salary and fee to Juventus.
After the progress that came after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s press conference, talkSPORT report that Manchester United are confident of hijacking the deal from their local rivals, Man City.
Solskjaer hails Ronaldo as the greatest player of all time and tells him that Old Trafford will welcome him back if he ever wanted to leave Juventus.
Fabrizio Romano drops latest update on Cristiano Ronaldo after the Glazers emergence Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Cristiano Ronaldo: “We’ve always had a good communication. Bruno’s been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. And if he was ever gonna move away from Juventus, he knows we’re here.
“Cristiano [Ronaldo] is a legend of this club, the greatest player of all time if you ask me. I was fortunate enough to play with him. I coached him when I got my job.
“Let’s see what happens.
“We focus on the ones we have here. Don’t want to speculate too much on him [Cristiano Ronaldo]. When you are at Manchester United you have to read a lot about yourself. Let’s see.”
Notwithstanding Man United’s recent lack of consistency, my love for the club since 2007 has always been consistent. After that, I put focus on transfer news concerning Manchester United.
