Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United have begun arrangements to unveil their newest signing Benjamin Sesko.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the club are planning to unveil Sesko at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Sesko is currently travelling to Manchester, with both his medical and contract signing planned for tomorrow. Romano shared a photo of the striker and his agent on board their flight.

Sesko is one of the most exciting young strikers across Europe and has attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Sesko could have earned significantly more at Newcastle, but waived part of his salary to seal the move to Old Trafford.

His agency also sacrificed a large share of commission to help push the deal through.

Sesko’s arrival completes a new-look front line alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, who also joined this summer.

Amorim will be hoping the new-look front line can solve last season’s goal-scoring woes.

Rasmus Hojlund’s future remains uncertain, but if he is to remain at United, he does have some healthy competition for that number nine spot.

Alejandro Garnacho is expected to leave, with Chelsea advancing in talks to sign the Argentine winger.
