Ex-Chelsea Star Who Arsenal Have Been Linked To Urged To Join Man United

BACK Dylan Oakley Feb 18th 2026 A former Chelsea player has been urged to join Man United in the summer amid reports linking him to Arsenal.  Man United are heading into their next game against Everton, hopeful of clinging onto a Champions League spot, as they are looking good to make a return to the competition next season. Carrick must guide United to Europe, as it will make it easier to recruit top players in the summer. It is understood that United are keen to add an attacking midfielder as the future of Bruno Fernandes remains very uncertain, with his contract at the club due to expire in June 2027, at the end of next season. Man United linked with Christian Pulisic Reports earlier in February emerged suggesting that former Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic could leave AC Milan in the summer, and potentially make a return to the Premier League. It is understood that Man United, Tottenham and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on the USA international, and could make a move for hi, which would amount to around £48m. Pulisic has experience in the Premier League, as he spent four years at Chelsea, scoring 26 goals and providing 24 assists in 145 matches. Pulisic urged to move to Old Trafford Former US international goalkeeper Tim Howard believes that Pulisic’s situation is very similar to both Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah, who both failed at Chelsea, before moving abroad, and then coming back to become Premier League legends. Howard believes signing for Man United could help the winger get to another level. He said on Unfiltered Soccer: “I remember Kevin De Bruyne at Chelsea, I remember Mohamed Salah at Chelsea. They weren’t good enough, apparently, so they went abroad. Mohamed Salah went to Roma and Kevin De Bruyne went to Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg. “I backed him to the hilt at Chelsea and unfortunately he didn’t get the rub of the green, went through some different coaches and then he went off. But he sort of reminds me of Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne in that he went off, he’s matured and he’s older, and he’s gone to one of the best teams in the league. “He’s put AC Milan on his back and he’s been the best player in that league so now I think, from the physical, football maturity-side, he now comes back to the Premier League, and he gets slotted into a Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, I think there’s actually another level for him.” Pulisic has been at AC Milan since 2023, scoring 42 goals, and providing 25 assists in 121 during his time at the Serie A club.
