Details of Ederson’s “thorough” medical with United now disclosed, an official announcement is expected very soon – reports

Manchester United are yet to officially disclose the names of any new signings, but they could announce as many as three new arrivals over the weekend. The Red Devils have agreed a deal for Andrey Santos from Chelsea, with INEOS delighted with the capture. The Brazilian has reportedly already passed his medical. As relayed by The Peoples Person, a deal for free agent Karl Darlow has also been agreed, with the Welshman expected to take over from Altay Bayindir as Senne Lammens’ understudy. Curiously, the first deal that the 20-time English league champions agreed this summer was for Ederson, who was recommended to INEOS by the departing Casemiro. Ederson deal ran into problems The Brazilian also underwent a rushed medical in the United States in between the World Cup, but the Old Trafford side were not too pleased with the results. Because of which rumours have been rife that a deal for the Atalanta ace could fall apart. The midfielder is currently in Manchester undergoing the second part of his “thorough” medical. This was revealed by both Ben Jacobs and Fabrizio Romano, with Gianluca Di Marzio now claiming that tests will be conducted over two days, ending on Friday. Thorough medical ongoing “Ederson is in England over the next few HOURS for new medical tests with Manchester United. Only after the second round of medicals will United give a response on whether or not they will proceed with the €45m deal,” Fabrizio Romano had revealed. As per Di Marzio, “The countdown to Ederson’s transfer to Manchester United is now underway. After his Brazil side were eliminated from the World Cup, the midfielder is now ready to bid farewell to Atalanta and Italian football. “Tomorrow, Friday, July 10th, the player will complete the next two days of medical tests he’s undergoing in England. If everything goes well, then everything will be ready for the signing and the official announcement.” Hopefully, Ederson successfully completes his medical, with Michael Carrick in desperate need of three new signings in order to revamp the team’s engine room.
