Dean Henderson has given Manchester United a boost by returning to first team training.
Henderson was pictured at Carrington in photos posted on the club’s Instagram on Friday.
Henderson pulled out of England’s squad for Euro 2020 with a hip injury.
He returned to pre-season training in July but didn’t play any of the games because he was suffering from the long-term impact of Covid.
Tomorrow’s clash with Wolves has come too soon for him to make his return.
He was pictured training, but not alongside any of the first team yet.

But his preparations have been disrupted and the most important thing is that he is fit and healthy now.
Coming back to the training pitch is a step in the right direction and the next step is obviously gametime.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said there will be a behind-closed-doors friendly next week.
Henderson might have his eye on being part of that. In terms of competitive action, the EFL Cup clash with West Ham next month might be his first outing of the season.
