Confirmed: February’s Goal of the Month

Antony’s unerring finish against Barcelona has been voted as Manchester United’s Goal of the Month for February.

United’s no.18 rose high to open the scoring in our eventual 2-0 triumph over Newcastle, and that goal was chosen by 11 per cent of voters for the award.

Making up our four most backed efforts is Alejandro Garnacho’s super finish away to Leeds. Rashford had already opened the scoring in the closing stages at Elland Road with a header, but Garnacho raced on to a forward pass from Wout Weghorst and walloped he ball in off the inside of the left post, sealing a 2-0 win in Yorkshire.

Alejandro’s strike garnered seven per cent of the votes, and he recently followed it up with a curled finish against West Ham – which is already a contender for our March award!
