CL giants pushing to sign United star “as soon as possible”, Amorim ignored him vs Forest – report

It is understood Napoli, who tried to sign Mainoo in the summer as well, view the United academy product as an ideal fit for their system under Antonio Conte.  McTominay continues to shine in Naples Napoli signed Scott McTominay from United in 2024 and Ramus Hojlund this year, and both players have impressed under Conte. McTominay, in particular, has proven to be a huge success, leading Napoli to the Serie A title in his debut campaign. He was crowned as Serie A MVP for his exploits in Italy.
