Christian Eriksen says Manchester United teammate has never played a bad game alongside him

Christian Eriksen has praised Marcus Rashford‘s recent performances and the impact he is having on the Manchester United team.

Eriksen says Rashford’s displays are giving the home crowd a real lift, with the latest coming in a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest this past week.

Rashford scored his 10th goal of the season in the victory, connecting with a corner from Eriksen in a perfectly executed corner kick routine.

The England star went on to add an assist, setting up a goal for Anthony Martial.

Eriksen praises Rashford

Eriksen spoke to The Athletic and told how he happy he is to play alongside Rashford, and believes he has only seen the forward’s good side.

The Dane said: “He played very well, luckily I haven’t been on the pitch where he has played a bad game yet

“I let him continue that, he is looking sharp and confident and you can feel that when he is going forward.

“You feel that in the stadium and you feel that with him and it is a nice thing and I hope he keeps it going.

“You can see that he came back pretty confident. I didn’t see as much of his games of course, you guys will have seen more, but he came back in good shape and luckily he has taken that into United.”

Eriksen is of course selectively forgetting the first two games of Manchester United’s season, where no players emerged with credit, himself and Rashford included.

Since then it has been largely very good all round, with just minor blips along the way. Whenever United have suffered a setback under Erik ten Hag, the side have bounced back strongly.

Rashford and Eriksen have both played a key part, and will continue to be key contributors between now and the end of the season, and beyond.
