Brilliant Man United duo join teammate as nominees for PL’s prestigious monthly awards

Two Manchester United players have joined Bruno Fernandes on the shortlist for the Premier League’s November 2024 awards.

Earlier today, it emerged that Fernandes is among a number of Premier League stars who have been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

Fernandes was a standout performer in November, which saw him find the back of the net against Chelsea and Leicester.

He converted from the spot-kick in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea and produced a fantastic shot in the meeting with Leicester at Old Trafford, which ended in a 3-0 victory for United. The Red Devils skipper also assisted Garnacho during the Leicester game.

Alejandro Garnacho and Andre Onana have earned nominations for the Goal of the Month and Save of the Month awards, respectively.

The Argentine came on from the bench to score United’s third of the match, ultimately securing the victory and ensuring all three points were in the bag.

Other top-flight players vying for the Goal of the Month are Salah Leif Davis, Emerson, Harry Wilson and Cunha, who has three entries for this category.

Voting for this award closes at 13:00 GMT on Monday. You can vote for Garnacho here.

Finally, Onana’s fabulous save to deny Liam Delap at Ipswich Town – in what was Ruben Amorim’s first match as United boss – is in with the chance of winning Save of the Month.

Delap looked like he was guaranteed to find the back of the net but Onana made himself big and thwarted the Ipswich talisman.

United are back in action on Sunday when they host Nottingham Forest.
