Blockbuster Friday in store for United fans as two new stars set to put pen to paper after medical formalities – Sky

It has been a long wait for Manchester United fans but the club is finally inching closer to announcing as many as three new arrivals. Two are already set in stone, with midfielder Andrey Santos and goalkeeper Karl Darlow both passing their medicals. INEOS are reportedly delighted with the Brazilian‘s capture and there are high hopes that the former Chelsea ace can flourish under Michael Carrick’s tutelage. As for the former Leeds goalkeeper, the Red Devils needed a homegrown star to come in and replace the outgoing Altay Bayindir, and they have got their man. Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow set to sign their United contracts According to Sky Sports, both new recruits will be at Carrington on Friday to put pen to paper on their new contracts. “Manchester United are expected to complete the signings of Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow on Friday. Both players have passed medicals with the club and agreed personal terms. “They are expected to be at Carrington on Friday to sign those deals, as United prepare for a full return to pre-season training next week.” Mystery still shrouds the future of Ederson, who was United’s first signing of the summer. Fans thought it was a done deal, pending only a medical. Ederson medical ongoing The Brazil international even had a medical in the United States in between his country’s World Cup matches but the 20-time English league champions were not too pleased with the results. That is why they have called the Atalanta ace over to Manchester to undergo a thorough medical, which is expected to last for two days and will only get over on Friday. “A thorough medical is still ongoing for midfielder Ederson. United hope to also complete his signing in the coming days.” Fans eagerly waiting for an official announcement Whether United will announce any of the three deals on Friday or wait till the weekend, only time will tell. But fans will be delighted with the fact that INEOS have finally woken up from their slumber. Now Michael Carrick will want at least one more midfield signing , as well as a new left-back, left-winger and a backup striker as he looks to navigate the challenges of the Champions League once again.
