“Big surprise”: Agent of 29-yo United star meets Euro giants, return to former club being considered – report

Senne Lammens enjoyed another positive outing between the sticks for Manchester United. Against Arsenal, the 23-year-old was crowded out for the equaliser at the Emirates. However, he made a couple of great saves to deny Martin Zubimendi and Bukayo Saka, and dealt well with a string of crosses into the box late in the game. Despite his inexperience, the Belgian has firmly established himself as United’s number one. Meanwhile, Lammens’ predecessor, Andre Onana, has been making all the right noises in Turkey. Andre Onana lands on Inter Milan’s radar Currently on loan at Trabzonspor, Onana has regained his confidence at his new club, where he has earned the nickname “The Wall”. As it stands, Onana is due to return to United this summer, but there is no indication to suggest he has a future at Old Trafford. However, another return could be on the cards for the Cameroon international. According to FCInterNews, Inter Milan are in the market for Yann Sommer’s replacement, and the club’s hierarchy could consider the possibility of re-signing Onana. It is understood the 29-year-old possesses the technical qualities sought by Inter and their head coach, Cristian Chivu. Onana’s agent is in Milan Onana’s agent has been spotted in Milan, and his relationship with Inter is said to be excellent.  The report states: “It would not be a big surprise if they met to talk in general about the players represented by the agent, with possible requests for information — either as an initial sounding out or simply out of curiosity — about the former player in question.” Onana, who left the Nerazzurri for the Red Devils in a £43.8m deal, still owns a house in Milan.  However, Onana’s significant salary could complicate matters for the Serie A giants.
