Spanish champions Real Madrid beat Getafe 2-0 in the Spanish Premier League tonight. Both goals came in a six-minute period in the second half.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane surprised in his line-up and set up an unconventional line-up. 3-4-3 rather than the traditional 4-3-3 system. Whether it was crucial tonight is uncertain, but the situation was at least limitless at the end of the first half.
As so often before, it was Karim Benzema who came to the rescue but he scored Real’s first goal an hour after the game. He then stabbed Vinicius Junior’s free kick into the net and the score became 1-0.
Only six minutes later the score was 2-0 but then Ferland Mendy – Benzema’s country – scored after Marcelo’s free kick from the left. No more goals and easy victory Real fact.
Real is in third place La Liga with 43 points after game, similar to Barcelona but with a worse mark. Atlético Madrid are still at the top of the league with 51 points as well as having a good game at both Real and Barcelona.
