A series of updates on the situation on the treatment table at Spanish giants FC Barcelona have been forthcoming on Sunday.

Aspas at the death The Blaugrana were back in La Liga action a little over 24 hours ago.

After picking up just a solitary point from an available nine across the club’s prior three outings, Barca made the trip to the Estadio de Balaidos, eyeing a return to winning ways in a meeting with Celta Vigo.

And, with a little over half an hour played on Saturday, Sergi Barjuan’s men looked well on their way to precisely that.

An explosive opening to proceedings, remarkably, saw the visitors surge out to a 3-goal advantage – courtesy of Ansu Fati, Sergio Busquets and Memphis Depay – with time to spare before the interval:

A twist, however, remained in the tale…

After Iago Aspas’ effort shortly after the interval was added to by Nolito ten minutes from time, Celta secured for themselves a share of the spoils in the most spectacular fashion imaginable.

With essentially the last kick of the game, deep into a sixth minute of injury-time, Aspas bent a sumptuous left-footed effort inside the far post, sending Balaidos into rapturous celebrations, and breaking Barcelona hearts in the process:

Ansu latest The devastating nature of their collapse versus Celta actually proved only the tip of the iceberg when it came to Barcelona’s woes on Saturday, though.

This came with the Blaugrana having also been left to deal with a triple blow on the personnel front, as all of Ansu Fati, Eric Garcia and Nico Gonzalez were forced into premature departures from proceedings.

And, as outlined above, today, updates on the wellbeing of all three players have been provided.

First, in a post across the club’s social media platforms, Barca confirmed that Nico has picked up a left groin strain, and will therefore not be permitted to link up with Spain’s U21 squad this week:

Garcia, meanwhile, has too been forced out of international duty, after suffering a groin problem:

Most noteworthy of all, though, has been an insight into the likely return timetable of Ansu Fati.

Youngster Ansu, fresh off a prior spell on the sidelines, opened the scoring versus Celta, before limping off a short time later with what has since been confirmed as a thigh injury.

And, if the ensuing word spreading online is anything to go by, then the 19-year-old looks set for a lengthy stint on the treatment table, amid a reported return target of somewhere between four and six weeks:

❗️Ansu: Following his injury, he is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, per @RogerArbusa — while @fansjavimiguel reports 5-6. Not sounding good. #FCB 🇪🇸
