Manchester City vs Arsenal Arsenal’s nightmare start to 2021/22 is unlikely to get any easier this weekend.
The Gunners began their campaign with a 2-0 loss to newly promoted Brentford. They were then dominated and once again beaten 2-0 by Chelsea last time out.
And now, Mikel Arteta’s side must face off with current Premier League champions, Manchester City, at the Etihad.
The north Londoners do not have a great recent record against the Citizens, losing 1-0, 4-1 and 1-0 in their previous three encounters.

Arsenal team news update As a result, Arteta is no doubt desperate to have as many of his first-team players as possible fit for Saturday’s early kick-off.
And, on Friday, Arsenal have provided a team news update ahead of the City game.
Bukayo Saka picked up a knee issue in the League Cup meeting vs West Brom earlier this week. At the time, Arteta stated he was hopeful the winger would be ok.
Now, Arsenal have confirmed that Saka is back in full training and available for selection.
Elsewhere, Kieran Tierney picked up a quad issue in the loss to Chelsea last Sunday. However, he to is back in full training and available for selection.
Hector Bellerin is also back in training for the Gunners, but they did not state if Ben White would be back for Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19, instead writing:
Ben tested positive for Covid-19 and has missed the last two matches. Ben’s health and fitness will be continually monitored ahead of Saturday.
