Saturday 01 April 2023 16:00Antony has won his second consecutive Manchester United Goal-of-the-Month award, narrowly pipping Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford after a closely contested vote in our fan poll.It was another trademark left-footed curler from the Brazilian which topped our shortlist, with our no.21 effortlessly caressing the ball into the far corner to make it 2-1 against Real Betis, in United’s Europa League round-of-16 first leg at Old Trafford. Alejandro Garnacho’s match-winner against West Ham in the FA Cup was hot on the heels of both of the aforementioned efforts, with 21 per cent of voters backing the young forward. Two other shortlisted attempts got double-figure percentages too, as Rashford’s other nomination on the list – his opener in the first leg against Betis – and Marcel Sabitzer’s clever flick against Fulham in the FA Cup gained 12 per cent apiece.Below you can see the result of our poll for March’s United Goal of the Month in full.
