West Ham United hitman Michail Antonio this afternoon etched his name indelibly into the history books of the club, after finding the net versus Newcastle United.
Benrahma amongst the goals David Moyes’ men were of course back in action a short time ago. The Hammers made the trip to St. James’ Park, for their Premier League season opener.
West Ham, fresh off the back of an odds-defying campaign last time out, headed into proceedings with their sights no doubt firmly set on all three points.
And, when all was said and done on Tyneside, this is precisely what the visitors went on to secure.
A wonderful 90 minutes of end-to-end football, upon the full-time whistle sounding on Sunday, culminated in a 4-2 West Ham victory.
Despite having twice fallen behind, strikes from all of Aaron Cresswell, Said Benrahma, Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio ultimately proved enough to guide Moyes’ outfit to a winning start to the campaign, and an early spot in the Premier League’s top-4.
