The equipment will need repairs before United’s Europa League match against Rangers on Thursday.
This emotional display has drawn comparisons to Sir Alex Ferguson’s famed “hairdryer treatment,” though Amorim’s intensity appeared even more pronounced to players and staff.
Since taking over from Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese manager has had a disastrous run of results, winning just two out of ten Premier League games.
He described this side as the worst in United’s history and refused to change his system to accommodate underperforming players.
