Inter Milan chief Giuseppe Marotta has refused to rule out the possibilities of signing Alex Telles from Manchester United this summer.
Reports emerged this week that both Serie A sides AS Roma and Inter have shown interest in Telles, who only joined Man United from FC Porto last season.
Because Luke Shaw was outstanding throughout last season for the Red Devils, the former Porto left-back was limited to cup games.
Roma and Inter Milan want the Brazil international on loan, with plans to hand him more playing time than he would get at Old Trafford next season.
The same reports claimed that Man United rejected their proposals as they wouldn’t want to risk having only Luke Shaw as their natural left-back option this season.
Despite the discouraging update from Manchester, Marotta refuses to close the door of signing Alex Telles this summer.

Alex Telles has poured cold water on the reports leading him away from the Theatre of Dreams after he suggested that he wants to stay and fight for his place at United.
‘I’m really happy to be back here,” Telles told United Daily. “It’s a pleasure to be at Manchester United coming into my second season.
‘Last season, we came really close to winning trophies, so we go into this next season with a lot of desire and I really want to show my work and my value here at the club.’
He is an immense fan of the club since 2005. Miracle wonders where Man United would have ranked in the Premier League history if Sir Alex Ferguson wasn’t given enough time to rebuild the team.
