Manchester United Women striker Elisabeth Terland had another good season for the Red Devils. Strong season Terland impressed with 15 goals in 32 matches but has recently been linked with a move away from the club. The striker was also in action for United in their recent World Sevens appearance and has linked up with the Norwegian national team ahead of World Cup qualifiers. Preparation Terland was speaking with the club’s media about how she prepares for matches. The Norwegian stated that her success is often down to the positive atmosphere of the dressing room. She explained, “inside the dressing room, everyone is just happy to see each other. We talk to each other, we connect. We’re focused for the game, we’re ready. I usually sit between Mel and Tooney [Melvine Malard and Ella Toone]. It’s nice to have them as neighbours. In the dressing room we’re all very happy usually, quite confident.” DJ duty The striker also explained that she is on DJ duty in the dressing room at the moment. She stated, “the best DJ is on the music… it’s me! You should ask all my team-mates what they think about the music. It is sick, they’re very happy about my music! We’re on a Bad Bunny high now. But it’s a lot of different things, I think I hit everyone. They’ve stopped requesting because it’s so good!” The striker also explained that she does not have any superstitions before a game, but some of her teammates certainly do, although it would drive her crazy having to remember them. Pre-match ritual She asserted, “I am not someone who visualises myself scoring before a game. You always prepare for what you’re going to meet and who you’re going to play against, and make sure you are where you need to be, both physically and mentally before the game starts.” Terland also explained that she loves playing in front of the home fans at The Progress with Unity Stadium and that there is no better feeling than scoring in front of them. She explained, “there is a special connection between us and our fans. You really feel the power of the fans. I had a period in Norway where I felt a little bit of the same, but I’ve never felt it as big before. It’s special and I love it.” Elisabeth Terland season stats SeasonGames playedGoals 2025/20263215 Source: Wikipedia Featured image Michael Campanella via Getty Images The Peoples Person has been one of the world’s leading Man United news sites for over a decade.
