Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus want to negotiate a ‘free loan’ deal without an obligation to buy Joshua Zirkzee this summer.

Of course, any prospective loan would not be ‘free’ as the player’s wages would need covered, but the Italian side want to avoid an obligatory transfer fee should the loan not work out.

It’s claimed the Old Lady want to replicate Marcus Rashford’s loan deal, giving the Italian side more control.

Racing Santander have made it clear Manchester United transfer target Jorge Salinas will only be sold if his £13.7million release clause is met. The 19-year-old has appeared on the Reds’ transfer radar this summer.

The defender has established himself as a promising prospect in Europe and is already turning plenty of heads. One of those is Barcelona, who have reportedly offered the club just over £5m to sign him.

Luke Shaw is helping JJ Gabriel to settle in the Manchester United first-team environment following the teenager’s recent involvement with the senior team.

United released footage of the squad heading out of Carrington’s main building for training on Tuesday, and Shaw was pictured walking out with Gabriel and chatting to the youngster.

Last weekend, Shaw walked out of the Strawberry Arena with Gabriel after United’s pre-season win against Atletico Madrid. Gabriel was initially closest to the journalists in the mixed zone, but Shaw swapped sides to ensure the teenager was on the outside as they left the ground.

It’s now 24 days since United ended a flurry of first-team transfer activity with the £35m addition of Youri Tielemans. In the space of a few days, Tielemans had joined Andre Santos and Karl Darlow as new arrivals at Old Trafford and it felt the transfer window had lift-off.

But 24 days have passed now without a transfer being completed and that run doesn’t look like ending any time soon. United have reached an impasse in the window.

There are reasons for that. They are still debating the merits of signing a third midfielder, a deal for Lewis Hall is going to be extremely difficult to pull off and Marcus Rashford’s situation means signing an attacker isn’t currently off the agenda.

But it does feel like this squad still needs more to be done if they are to challenge for trophies this season and time is starting to run out in this window for United.

Bayern Munich have reportedly added Morgan Gibbs-White to their transfer wishlist as a potential replacement for Michael Olise, should the French international depart the Bundesliga giants, according to the Daily Mail.

However, it’s claimed the Magpies won’t sanction a sale for Hall, having already lost Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali.

TalkSPORT claim Manchester United are willing to spend up to £60m on Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall as they look to strengthen that area of the pitch.

Though some reports claim Hall is open to a move to Old Trafford, a deal would be difficult for United given the sheer overhaul at St. James’ Park this summer.

Hall is reportedly the club’s top target at left-back, with Harry Amass likely to leave the club.

Manchester United duo Radek Vitek and Altay Bayindir are both set for medicals ahead of moves away from Old Trafford this summer.

The club has agreed a loan deal with La Liga side Celta Vigo for the latter, with an option to make the move a permanent one for £3.5m.

Bayindir has struggled since his move to Old Trafford and has been granted permission to leave the club.

As has fellow shotstopper Vitek, who is closing in on a move to Middlesbrough, with Carrick’s former club agreeing an initial £7m deal.

United are reportedly eyeing a move for Brentford striker Igor Thiago this summer. It is being claimed that the Brazilian has been discussed internally at Old Trafford, with club bosses seeking to sign him as competition for Benjamin Sesko.

The 25-year-old endured a slow start at the Gtech Community Stadium after arriving in February 2024 from Club Brugge. But the Brazil international proved his worth in his second full campaign in west London, notching up 26 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.

Thiago’s performances helped Keith Andrews’ team finish ninth in the Premier League, narrowly missing out on a place in Europe for the first time ever. The No.9 then started for Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil at this summer’s World Cup – failing to score as the Selecao lost in the last 16 to Norway.

Fenerbahce are reportedly looking to sign Marcus Rashford in potentially one of the biggest moves of the summer. The Sun claims that Rashford is on a three-man shortlist for Fener that also includes AC Milan’s Rafael Leao and Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr.

The Turkish giants have reportedly held talks with Leao but have so far failed to agree a deal. Fenerbahce are also said to have contacted the representatives of Sarr during the summer transfer window. And it is now claimed that Rashford’s representatives have also been contacted over a prospective move.

United are likely to face a tough stance from Newcastle United in their pursuit of full-back Lewis Hall, despite reportedly being willing to pay £60million. The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to United.

Michael Carrick is keen to strengthen his left-back options. Patrick Dorgu is expected to play higher up, while youngster Harry Amass has been told he can leave the club. That leaves Luke Shaw as the only real option in the position.

Hall has emerged as a name high on the list of targets for the position. He has impressed in the Premier League for Newcastle, and only just missed out on a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the World Cup.

United-linked AC Milan star Rafael Leao has reportedly been offered to Leeds. The winger is reportedly keen on a move away from the Serie A giants this summer and has long been linked with the Reds.

Now, TalkSPORT have claimed that he had been offered to Leeds and Arsenal.

Manuel Ugarte has been supported by Manchester United teammates after sharing an update on his recovery from injury. The midfielder faces a significant period on the sidelines after being stretchered off during Uruguay’s 1-0 defeat to Spain in the recent FIFA World Cup.

That loss and injury were compounded by another blow, as it ended the South American nation’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages. The 25-year-old suffered the injury after an inadvertent clash with his own team-mate as he and Mathias Olivera both challenged for possession late in the first half.

Olivera reached the ball first and, in the aftermath, fell onto the United player’s extended leg. The unfortunate incident saw Ugarte stretchered off in tears.

Manu Kone has been tipped to shone in midfield for Arsenal – not Manchester United. United have been heavily linked with the French international in their search for midfield reinforcements.

Kone impressed with his performances on the World stage for France in the World Cup this summer. He helped his side to a fourth-place finish in the tournament, losing to England in third-place play-off.

Reports in France last month claimed that United had opened talks with Roma over a deal, but faced competition from Arsenal. Former United full-back Patrice Evra has now appeared to suggest that a move to the Emirates Stadium may be the right one for the 25-year-old, instead of a place in Michael Carrick’s squad.

However, United have also inserted a 35 per cent clause in the event he gets snapped up by another top side for a big transfer fee, according to the Mail. There is also matching rights and a potential buy-back option in the deal.
