24-yo speedster ready to pick his next club in the coming hours, he’s United’s top target – Sky Sports

If Manchester United are to sign Crysencio Summerville, the next few hours will be pivotal. A left winger signing is said to have been discussed at M16. There is a risk that the team will miss that profile if Marcus Rashford leaves, given that Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho were never replaced. Crysencio Summerville, Man United’s top winger target While many exciting wingers could tempt the twenty-time English champions, Summerville has emerged as the top target. There was a suggestion that United could sign him for only £40 million, though it has now emerged that he is available for less. West Ham United are reportedly willing to let the Dutch wingergo for £30 million. His tempting asking price, technical brilliance, Premier League experience, and a perfect audition at the World Cup should have already motivated INEOS to strike this deal. Instead, it is suggested that a Summerville transfer can only go through once Rashford leaves. However, as United wait to sort out Rashford’s situation, their hopes of signing Summerville may be dashed, given what Sky Sports Italy are now reporting. The Italian outlet confirms that AS Roma have presented the winger’s entourage with a tempting offer. A decision is yet to be made, however, as Aston Villa and United, two top Premier League clubs, are also pursuing Summerville. Hours to count before Summerville reveals his transfer intentions Within the coming hours, it will become clear whether he is off to Rome or will instead wait for his Premier League suitors, as the report explains: “The ball is now in the player’s court, and he will make his final assessment in the coming hours. “Summerville could reportedly decide as early as the next few hours, once he returns from Miami on Thursday, July 16, and meets with his agents to plan his future.” Out of Man United’s control United will be hoping he snubs a move to Rome and waits for them, since that may be their only route to signing him. This is especially true, as no serious suitors for Rashford have yet stepped up to sign him. Hopefully, now that the World Cup is over, things will change. In the end, once it becomes clearer where Rashford will play his football, a final decision can be made about moving for Summerville, assuming he has snubbed Roma.
