United prepare offer to sign 35m Portuguese sensation from Wolves – report

Manchester United and Liverpool appear to have the same attackers on their respective transfer wishlists. Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming that Liverpool and Manchester United are keen on West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville. However, West Ham have allegedly slapped a £50 million price tag on the Dutch winger, which may force both clubs to look elsewhere. In particular, both clubs are considering signing another versatile forward who suffered relegation to the Championship last season. Manchester United prepare offer to sign Mateus Mane According to United In Focus, Manchester United are looking to compete with Liverpool and several other clubs across Europe for the signature of Mateus Mane this summer. Mane, 18, was one of the rare bright spots for Wolverhampton Wanderers last season, impressing with his explosive pace and relentless dribbling at the Molineux stadium. However, Wolves are unlikely to be able to keep hold of Mane this summer and have accordingly set a £35 million price tag on their academy graduate, who “took the Premier League by storm last season.” The report adds that United are preparing an offer to sign the Portuguese sensation. It is believed that the Red Devils are ready to “test the waters” with a move in the region of £20 million for Mane. Manchester United eyeing Ibrahim Mbaye Paris Saint-Germain’s Ibrahim Mbaye is another name on Manchester United’s shortlist. The young winger is thought to be open to leaving the Ligue 1 giants in search of more regular playing time. United are joined by Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in the race for the Senegalese talent, who made 31 appearances under Luis Enrique last term.
