Manchester United came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Old Trafford. Here are our player ratings from the game. (A score of 6 is around average) Senne Lammens 6 – Well and truly beaten for Palace’s opener but delivered a flawless performance after that and intervened when needed. Diogo Dalot 5 – A number of poor passes but improved as the game and went on. Leny Yoro 4 – A tough opening, compounded by losing Maxence Lacroix for the goal. Like Dalot, he shook off the initial nerves and eventually settled into the game. Harry Maguire 7 – United’s standout defender. Dominant in his duels and imperious both on the ground and in the air. Absolutely superb! Luke Shaw 4 – Poor before he sustained an injury and had to be taken off. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and he returns swiftly. Casemiro 6 – A steady presence in midfield. He became more influential as the game went on and had two good opportunities to score, one in each half. Kobbie Mainoo 6 – Went about his job with minimum fuss. Bruno Fernandes 9 -Sensational! Made no mistake from the spot-kick to draw United level and then delivered a sublime ball to assist United’s second of the afternoon. He was pulling the strings and orchestrated the comeback. Captain’s performance! Bryan Mbeumo 5 – The ball sat up for him a few times, but he couldn’t quite bring it under his spell to find the back of the net. Matheus Cunha 7 – Won the penalty from which United restored parity. Benjamin Sesko 8 – Another game, another Sesko goal. He had little to feed on,but he kept going and was perfectly placed to meet Fernandes’ cross with a stunning bullet header. Substitutes Noussair Mazraoui 6 – Solid after coming on for Shaw. Amad 6 – Bright when he came on. Forced Dean Henderson into two good saves. Ayden Heaven 5 – On for the closing stages and helped United get over the line. Joshua Zirkzee 5 – Same as Heaven Featured image Stu Forster via Getty Images The Peoples Person has been one of the world’s leading Man United news sites for over a decade.
