Jadon Sancho After playing a largely irrelevant part in Villa’s start to the season, since Christmas, Sancho has been a much bigger factor in their success. The Villans grabbed a late 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion to extend the gap between themselves and Manchester United in the table to five points. He played 60 minutes in the match and completed three key passes whilst he was on the pitch. The winger also had one shot on goal, but it was blocked by the Brighton defence. He did win 100% of his aerial duels but could not come out on top in any of his three ground duels during the match. Sancho will next be in action against Newcastle United in the FA Cup this Saturday evening.
